Automotive short-sightedness
I’m probably not much different to most Australian males. I admit to really enjoying my cars. I enjoy driving, I enjoy driving enthusiastically when safe and legal.
So it’s hurts a little to feel the need to downsize my car a tad and settle for something with less grunt than I’m used to. The driving factors (pun intentional) are cost saving and a slight nod to environmental issues. But one of the things that would make that change a whole lot easier to swallow is being made harder by government policy…

Top Gear host injured
This is sad news for fans of the fantastic BBC motoring show ‘Top Gear’.
Richard Hammond – diminutive co-host – has suffered a serious brain injury after a crash at the shows ex-RAF airfield.
