Xobni - interesting Outlook addin
I live a good part of my life by Outlook.
For work it is absolutely indispensable. We don’t have Exchange or anything fancy like that, but it keeps my entire calendar, an extensive task list, and all of the 200-300 emails I receive in a typical day.
I use email a heap for work and pleasure. While email doesn’t replace talking with someone in person or by phone, email still greases the wheels of relationships and keeps organisational issues under control.
Which is why I’m rather interested in a new add-in for Outlook called Xobni. It appears to help organise and and ‘connect the dots’ with my email… I’ve put my name down for the beta, and if you are interested, use the link below to sign up too (and help me get the beta sooner… ;))-
Update: The beta has just gone public, so it’s n ow installed and has run it’s first indexing session (the rest will happen when the machine is idle).
Already, I can see the power and usefulness of this – especially in my work environment…
More later after some use…

You’re a wimp Andrew! ;-)
A lot of that volume is list email from various email forums I’m part off. Most of that mail is scanned quickly at the subject line and deleted. I would only actually open a handful each day to actually read – fewer still are replied to. ;-)

Hmmm…I wonder if the next marker of how much your friends love you will be their Xobni ranking…
