Boring Blog Design

I’m really bored with the current design of Westserve.
It was a great template to start out with, and was pretty easy to customise… but I’m over it now.

And being artistically challenged, and a total CSS ning-nong, it means finding another template that I can adopt and adapt for my needs.
There are couple on http://www.textpattern.org that are pretty nice.

Any other suggestions?

  1. I found it interesting to change the Flying Nerd site by just tinkering with the standard (WordPress) template.

    I was happy with the basic content, but had hacked so many details that changing to a new template was a pretty scary thought. So I just hacked a bit harder and changed all the graphics elements. It looks DIFFERENT (whether it looks GOOD is another question!), and it retained all my content and other changes.

    Whichever way you go, I’m sure it will be a learning experience—which is important!
